13 Eylül 2009 günü 9.30-11.30 saatleri arasında ÖSYM tarafından yapılan Polis Akademisi Polis Meslek Yüksekokulları Öğrenci Adaylığı Sınavı (kısaca PMYO Sınavı) ile ilgili olarak, sınavın yapıldığı saatlerde (saat 10.59"da) Merkezimize “....Sınav sorularının ele geçirildiğini ve KPSS Deneme Sınavı adı altında bazı dershaneler tarafından özel olarak seçilen öğrencilere iletildiğini ...” iddia eden bir haber iletilmiş; adı geçen KPSS Deneme Sınavı soruları ise Merkezimize saat 12.59"da (sınav bittikten yaklaşık 1,5 saat sonra) elektronik posta ile ulaştırılmıştır.
Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda KPSS Deneme Sınavında yer alan 103 sorudan 88"inin, PMYO Sınavında sorulan 120 sorudan 88"i ile büyük benzerlik gösterdiği saptanmış ve KPSS Deneme Sınavı sorularını hazırlayan kişilerin PMYO sorularını sınav gününden önce veya sınav sabahı ele geçirdikleri kanaatine varılmıştır. PMYO sorularının sınavdan önce ya da sınav başladıktan hemen sonra dışarıya sızması ile sınav geçerliliğinin zedelendiği görüşü oluşmuş ve gerekli soruşturmalar yapılarak olayın aydınlatılması için Ankara ***huriyet Başsavcılığına, Emniyet Genel Müdürlüğüne ve Yükseköğretim Kuruluna gerekli duyurular yapılmıştır.
Bütün bu gelişmeler karşısında, ÖSYM Yürütme Kurulu tarafından 13 Eylül 2009 günü yapılan PMYO Sınavının iptal edilmesine ve 1 Kasım 2009 günü 9.30-11.30 saatleri arasında Sınavın yeniden yapılmasına karar verilmiştir. 1 Kasım 2009 günü yapılacak yeni sınavda adayların sınava girecekleri yerleri bildiren Sınava Giriş ve Kimlik Belgeleri 15 Ekim 2009 tarihinden itibaren adayların adreslerine postalanacaktır.
Kamuoyuna ve sınava girecek adaylara duyurulur.
